What does this text fixer do?
It repairs the mechanical problems that make pasted text look wrong: repeated words, doubled spaces, stray spaces before punctuation, zero-width and other invisible characters, curly quotes and dashes that break a search, sentences that start in lower case, and a list of the most common misspellings. Each fix is a separate toggle, the original text is never modified, and everything runs in your browser.

What each fix does
The fixer works on the text you paste and leaves your choice of words alone. It will not rewrite a sentence, change a tone or replace a word it merely thinks is wrong โ the misspelling list is a fixed set of frequent typos, and each replacement is counted and reported so you can check it before copying.
If the text is fine but you need something else done to it, the text tools page counts words and characters, converts case and reverse text, and the screenshot-to-text tool turns an image of text into editable text in the first place. Common questions
Does the fixer rewrite or rephrase my text?
No. It only applies the mechanical fixes listed on the page โ spacing, punctuation, invisible characters, capitalisation, repeated words and a list of common typos. Your wording is left exactly as you wrote it, and each fix can be turned off individually.
Is my text uploaded?
No. The text is processed by your own browser and no request carrying it is made. There is no account and no storage, so closing the tab discards everything.
Which mistakes does it correct automatically?
The list is visible on the page as toggles: extra spaces, blank lines, punctuation spacing, curly quotes and dashes, zero-width and control characters, sentence capitalisation, the standalone word "I", doubled words, and frequent misspellings such as teh, seperate, definately, occured and wierd.
Will it fix spelling mistakes anywhere in my document?
Only the specific misspellings it knows. There is no dictionary behind it, because a spell checker that silently changed words it merely guessed at would be worse than none. Everything it changes is counted and shown next to the result, so you can check the output before copying it.
Can I fix text on my phone?
